E-liquid for pod systems: common questions

What e-liquid goes in a pod system?

Most small, low-wattage pod systems are made for nic salt e-liquid. Online listings run 25 mg to 50 mg, depending on the brand.

Can I use freebase e-liquid in a pod?

Check your device's guidance first. Freebase e-liquid, usually 3 mg or 6 mg online, is made for higher-wattage tank devices.

What about thick, high-VG e-liquid?

Thicker high-VG liquids are built for larger, higher-powered tanks. Small pod wicks are designed for thinner liquid, so follow the manufacturer's guidance for your device.

What strength should I start with?

Start lower. It is easier to go up than to back off. Our nicotine strength guide explains the numbers, and nic salt vs freebase goes deeper.

Which brands do you carry?

Nic salts include Skwezed, Baton, Juice Head, Cloud Nurdz, Coastal Clouds and Naked 100. See the brands page.
